Our aim at MCD Care is to help you to reach your full potential. We encourage independence and freedom while carefully balancing risk. 

Management will support you to craft a detailed, bespoke care plan that meets your needs and will work to continually update these as your requirements and needs change. 

Staffing levels are provided based on your individual needs. 

We have a purpose built workshop to work on projects and general maintenance on the smallholding.

In 2021 we built an on site allotment with raised beds. We are often working on projects that you are welcome to get involved with. 

We also encourage you to build your own projects such as bird tables and planters with the help of Staff.

Our allotment project in 2021 has provided us with a large on site allotment with lots of large raised beds. 

We undertake planting seeds, weeding, watering and nurturing them to grow and harvesting when the time is ready. 

We would love for you to get involved.

We can then help you to plan a food menu to use your harvested fruit and vegetables. 

We have a smallholding with goats, alpacas and sheep where you can spend time relaxing with the animals. We also have a large outdoor space where you can play games, carry out jobs to care for the animals and work on projects.

We undertake caring for the animals on a daily basis and encourage you to get involved and learn new skills.

Based on your preferences, we try to assist you in selecting a variety of activities to do each week. We will encourage you to be outgoing and keep busy.

Southampton (where we're based) offers sports, cinema, shopping, museums, libraries, bowling, games clubs, walks, beaches and more.We can also help you to do activities further away and maintain friendships.

We encourage you to use the various modes of transport available in and around Southampton. 

Our houses are all based close to buses, trains and airports with regular times.

We also have company cars which are frequently used by clients and to access activities further away.
